This warming cowl covers more than most, extending over the shoulders and across the bustline. The cable panel is worked flat in rows, as you would a scarf; the cast-on and bound-off edges are sewn together to form the circle.

Supermerino by Artyarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 208yd/190m (wool)
• 3 (3, 4, 4) hanks in #295 red
• One pair size 7 (4.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm
• Cable needle (cn)
• Stitch marker

• Lower circumference 38 (42½, 47, 51½)”/96.5 (106.5, 119.5, 130)cm
• Neck circumference 23″/ 61cm
• Length Top of turtleneck to lower edge 15 (15, 17, 17)”/38 (38, 43, 43)cm

GAUGES
• 18 sts and 28 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
• Two reps of 16-row cable panel measures 4½”/11.5cm measured along RH edge.
