For a playful twist on seasonal sweater dressing, add tree appliqués instead of intarsia motifs to this sweater/hat set. The hat boasts a tassel that’s attached to a braided cord and pulled through the top.

Charly by Filatura di Crosa/Tahki•Stacy Charles Inc, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 71yd/65m (superwash wool)
• 1 ball in #1678 blue (MC)
• Small amount each in #1359 green (A) and #1362 gray (B)
• 1 set (5) double-pointed needles (dpn) size 9 (5.5mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch marker

• One each sizes 7 and 9 (4.5 and 5.5mm) circular needles, 16 and 24″/40 and 60cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (5) each size 7 and 9 (4.5 and 5.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
• Scrap yarn and stitch markers
