This rug has double-strand garter-stitch done in strips of ivory alternating with single strand stockinette strips in five colors of the same cheery yarn.

Difficulty level

MATERIALS
• 6 balls of Cilantro by Nashua Handknits/Westminster Fibers, Inc. 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 136yd/125m (cotton/polyester elite) in #3 ivory (MC)
• 1 ball each in #5 rose (A), #8 mango (B), #7 fuchsia (C), #15 soft green (D) and #6 salmon (E)
• One size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 17½ x 25″/44.5 x 63.5cm

GAUGE
• 15 sts and 20 rows to 4″/10cm over pattern using size 9 (5.5mm) needles.
