Whimsical yet practical, the zip-up jacket shown opposite features a subtly peaked hood that is picked up and knit along the neck edge; the pockets are stitched separately and sewn to the fronts. The shoulders are joined with Eaton’s signature 3-needle bind-off on the wrong side.

MATERIALS
Minnow Merino by Jil Eaton/Classic Elite Yarns, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 77yd/70m (superwash wool)
• 4 (5, 6, 6, 7) hanks each in #4794 jade (MC) and #4772 aquamarine (CC)
• One pair each sizes 6 and 8 (4 and 5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• 3 Size 8 (5.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) for 3-needle bind-off
• Size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
• One red separating zipper
• Sewing needle and thread to match yarn.
• Stitch holders and stitch markers
