SLOUCHY BERET

$5.00

Noro Knitting Magazine Fall/Winter 2013 #1

Design by Rachel Maurer

The corrugated-rib brim of this slouchy beret, striped in Noro Shiraito colorway #24 and Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, is worked up from a crochet cast-on. Knit into a three-row stripe of the two yarns, a two-by-one welt pattern creates the well defined bands of reverse stockinette on the main body of the hat. The decreases at the crown form a pentagonal shape.
