To froth up this accent piece, intersperse a row of self-ruffling yarn into a garter-rib base. The scarf is worked flat on a circular needle, so when you get to the end of a ruffle row, slide the stitches back to the beginning to pick up the main yarn.

Bella by Debbie Bliss/KFI, 1¾oz/50g balls, each approx 105yd/96m (cotton/silk/cashmere)
• 4 balls in #9 pale pink (MC) Tecido Trico Abstrato by Circulo/KFI, 1.3oz/37g hanks, each approx 32yd/29m (polyester)
• 2 hanks in #2661 white (CC)
• One size 5 (3.75mm) circular needle, 24″/60cm OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 7½ x 60″/19 x 152cm

GAUGE
24 sts and 24 rows to 4″/10cm over pat st using size 5 (3.75mm) needles and MC.
