• Size 2 (2.25mm) steel crochet hook OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Three 16″/40.5cm strands (approx 100 beads per strand) of 4mm round Czech fire-polished faceted beads in jet (product #H20-6091GB) from www.firemountaingems.com
• Swarovski crystal teardrop pendants: six 15×7.5mm in jet (product #H20-1700GB) one 28x14mm in jet (product #H20-7824CY) from www.firemountaingems.com
• One 1½”/38mm plastic bone ring (available from www.createforless.com)
• Sewing thread
• Sewing needles: one thin enough to go through bead holes (to string beads) and one with an eye just large enough for silk thread (for weaving in ends)
• Small safety pin
