Noro Knitting Magazine Fall/Winter 2013 #26

Design by Theresa Schabes

Schabes creates oblique lines, knitting the panels of her straight skirt every which way in Noro Kirara colorway #10. The center panels are knit from side to side, with garter stitch at the lower edge; the hip inset panels, diagonally; and the side panels, from the ribbed lower edge up. Placing the seams at the front leg creates a lean line and reduces added fabric at the hips. An encased elastic waistband finishes the look.
