An elegant hip-length vest carries a double-cable pattern on a reverse stockinette background along its front pieces, closed by I-cord button loops. The shawl collar is shaped with short rows.

128 Superwash by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 128yd/117m (superwash wool)
• 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7) hanks in #1960 teal
• One pair each sizes 10 and 10.5 (6 and 6.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One size 10 (6mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long
• 2 size 10 (6mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) for I-cord
• Stitch markers
• Cable needle (cn)
• Three 1¹⁄8“/28mm button
