Van Dillen’s classic Monty coat is plush and warm in an allover faux English rib pattern. The main body is worked in lavishly haloed Noro Nadeshiko colorway #20; Debbie Bliss Riva, worked in an uneven striping pattern, adds flounce to the hem and raglan sleeve cuffs. The generous hood and patch pockets are knit separately and added in finishing.

• 9 (10, 11, 11, 12) hanks of Noro Nadeshiko in #20 (MC)
• 5 (6, 7, 7, 8) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 88yds/80m) of Debbie Bliss Riva (wool, acrylic) in #02 heather (CC)
• One pair size 10 (6mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Stitch markers
• 3 leather grounded toggle sets in black

GAUGE
12 sts and 20 rows = 4″/10cm over rib pat using size 10 (6mm) needles and MC.
