This security-blanket-blue buddy is knit in the round in stockinette and finished with a pair of square ears.

220 Superwash by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g balls, each approx 220yd/201m (wool)
• 1 ball in #810 teal (A)
• Small amounts each in #910A winter white (B) and #815 black (C)
• One size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 16″/40cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (4) size 7 (4.5mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
• Stitch markers, stitch holders, scrap yarn
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Head circumference 20″/51cm
• Length (with brim rolled) 8½”/21.5cm
GAUGE
20 sts and 28 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
POINTY-EARS MONSTER HAT
The tapered winged ears on either side of this funny face are knit separately in the round and sewn to the body’s side edges.
