The adult version of these dynamic V-neck cardigans is the base off which the other two springboard. Boasting garter-stitch edgings, a one-button top closure and set-in sleeves, the piece is zestily striped with half a dozen shades—five solids and one multicolor.

Simplicity by Hikoo Yarns/Skacel Collection, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 117yd/107m (superwash wool /acrylic/nylon)
• 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) hanks in each #20 chocolate (MC) and #501 multi (D)
• 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) hanks each in #17 schoolhouse red (A), #19 sahara (B) and #10 deep turquoise (C)
• 1 (1, 2, 2, 2, 3) hanks in #9 aqua mint (E)
• One pair each sizes 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
• One each size 5 and 6 (3.75 and 4mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long
• Stitch holders and stitch markers
• One ¾”/19mm button

The smaller variation is knit exactly like mom’s, with one simple exception: It sports dropped-shoulder sleeves instead of set-in sleeves.
