Knit Simple Holiday 2011 #8 and #9
Design by Faith Hale
This masculine hat/scarf duo is simple to stitch up. The scarf, embellished with thin stripes near the edges, is worked in a skinny rib throughout. The cap, which is knit in the round, sports a breezy Fair Isle motif; shaping begins when the colorwork is complete. Though the colors coordinate, the patterning isn’t matchy-matchy, a design choice that many men will appreciate.
