Close-fitting, two-layer turtleneck with Stockinette stitch under layer and dropped-stitch lace top layer. The two layers are joined with ribbing after knitting is done.

• 3 (4, 5) 3½oz/100g hanks (each approx 400yd/360m) of TilliTomas Sock (wool/nylon) in hilton head (A)
• 2 (3, 3) 3oz/85g balls (each approx 345yd/315m) of Tilli Tomas Symphony Lace (mohair/silk/nylon/wool/beads/glitter) in eternal diva (B)
• Size 8 and 9 (5 and 5.5mm) circular needles, each 24″/60cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Two size 9 (5.5mm) circular needles, 16″/40cm long
• One set (5) size 9 (5.5mm) dpn
• Stitch holders
• Stitch markers
• Scrap yarn

GAUGES
• 22 sts and 32 rows = 4″/10cm over St st using smaller needles and A.
• 30 sts and 28 rows = 4″/10cm over K1, p1 rib using larger needles and 2 strands of A held tog.
• 20 sts and 24 rows = 4″/10cm over St st using smaller needles and B.
• One 12-st rep of lace pat = 2¾”/7cm across, one 10-row rep of chart pat = 1½”/4cm long, using smaller needles and B.
