MATERIALS
• 1 3½oz/100g hank (each approx 425yd/389m) of Lorna’s Laces Solemate (superwash wool/outlast/nylon) in #1311 the bean (silver and cream A)
• 1 4oz/113g hank (each approx 1250yd/1143m) of Lorna’s Laces Helen’s Lace (silk/wool) in #1311 the bean (silver and cream B)
• 2 40gr packets of Matsuno size #8 beads, in ceylon grey pastel (Fire Mountain Gems)
• 2 size 1 (2.25mm) circular needles, 24″/60cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One each sizes 1.5, 2 and 3 (2.5, 2.75 and 3mm) circular needles, 24″/60cm long
• 2 size 1 (2.25mm) dpn for I-cord
• Size E-4 (3.5mm) crochet hook for provisional cast-on
• Size .6mm crochet hook for adding beads
• Stitch markers, scrap yarn
(Note Approx ¼ of the hank of B was used.)
KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Foot circumference 8″/20.5cm
• Length from heel to toe 9″/23cm
• Length from heel to cuff 18″/45.5cm
Note Length of foot can be adjusted by working even after toe shaping.
GAUGE
36 sts and 48 rnds = 4″/10cm over St st using size 1 (2.25mm) needles and A.
