This sampler-style afghan incorporates a variety of textured pattern stitches, worked in blocks and strips. After the afghan has been assembled, ribbed borders are picked up and knit and large pompoms are sewn to the corners.

MATERIALS
Berkshire by Valley Yarns, 3½oz/100g hanks, each approx 141yd/129m (wool/alpaca)
• 13 skeins in #32 lime
• One pair size 9 (5.5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 9 (5.5mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long
• Stitch markers

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 48 x 48″/122 x 122cm

GAUGE
15 sts and 22 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 9 (5.5mm) needles.
