Alternating striped and solid sections make a pretty playground for intarsia hedgehogs and mushrooms. Fringe for the quills and French knots for the mushrooms’ dots are applied in finishing.

MATERIALS
220 Superwash by Cascade Yarns, 3½oz/100g balls, each approx 220yd/200m (superwash wool)
• 2 balls each in #888 sage (A) and #886 citron (B)
• 1 ball each in #819 chocolate (C), #817 aran (D) and #809 really red (E)
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 32″/80cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size G/6 (4mm) crochet hook
• Bobbins (optional)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
28½ x 30″/72.5 x 76cm

GAUGE
19 sts and 24 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
