Snuggle with the entire family under this cheerful blanket. A simple rib alternates with a double-garter-stitch pattern to create a woven effect. The alternating patterns may look complex, but actually they are easy enough for beginners.

Chunky Wool by Caledon Hills/Yarnmarket, 3½oz/100g hank, each approx 120yd/110m (wool)
• 9 hanks in #521 cardinal
• One pair size 11 (8mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approx 36 x 70″/91.5 x 177.5cm unstretched

GAUGE
12 sts and 18 rows to 4″/10cm over St st using size 11 (8mm) needles.
