CHEVRON PENCIL SKIRT
CHEVRON PENCIL SKIRT

Noro Knitting Magazine Fall/Winter 2013 #27

Design by Christina Behnke

Behnke stripes two Noro yarns—Silk Garden #364 and Mossa #13—to create an interplay of color and texture on her flared-hem pencil skirt. Knit in two pieces and seamed, it sports a gently sloped chevron pattern, with rows in Mossa worked in a purl ridge for added nap. Insets, shaped with short rows, form straight edges at the garter-stitch hem and ribbed waistband, which sits below the waist.
