HOUNDSTOOTH BOW TIE

Bow tie worked in 2-color houndstooth pattern.

MATERIALS
• 1 3½oz/100g hank (each approx 437yd/400m) of Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk (wool/silk) each in #5630 aqua foam (A) and #5637 cerulean (B)
• Two size 0 (2mm) circular needles, 24"/60cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size B/1 (2.25mm) crochet hook and scrap yarn for provisional cast-on
• Approx 20"/51cm length of matching ribbon

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
5½ x 2¾"/14 x 7cm

GAUGE
48 sts and 56 rows = 4"/10cm over chart pat using size 0 (2mm) needles.



BATWING BOW TIE

Two-piece bow tie worked in graphic pattern.

• 1 3½oz/100g hank (each approx 437yd/400m) of Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk (wool/silk) each in #5637 cerulean (A), #5659 primavera (green B), and #5642 blood orange (C)
• Two size 0 (2mm) circular needles, 24"/60cm long, OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Two size 2 (2.75mm) circular needles, 24"/60cm long
• Size B/1 (2.25mm) crochet hook and scrap yarn for provisional cast-on
• 3 ½"/12mm buttons

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Blade width 2"/5cm
• Blade length 9½"/24cm
• Total length with tie 18½"/47cm

GAUGE
48 sts and 56 rows = 4"/10cm over chart pat using size 0 (2mm) needles.
