OPENWORK SCARF

Get two looks from one scarf. It’s stitched in an easy lace pattern that’s raised on the right side and flat on the flip side. This stitch lies flat, so no need to worry about edge curling.

MATERIALS
Nautika by Knit One, Crochet Too, 1¾oz/50g skein, each approx 98yd/90m (microfiber/nylon)
• 3 skeins in #247 hibiscus (orange)
• One pair size 8 (5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 6 x 62"/15 x157.5cm

GAUGE
20 sts and 22 rows to 4"/10cm over lace pat using size 8 (5mm) needles.



STRIPED SCARF

This fun fringed scarf is worked sideways. Cast on a large number of stitches to the desired length on a circular needle, then knit every row. Achieve the open lacy effect by knitting one row with the recommended needle size and the next with a much larger needle.

Corntastic by Kolláge Yarns, 1¾oz/50g hanks, each approx 105yd/96m (wool)
• 1 hank each in #6513 topaz (blue A), #6509 peridot (green B), #6502 citrine (yellow C), #6526 lazurite (periwinkle D), #6510 rose quartz (pink E)
• Sizes 5 and 10 (3.75 and 6mm) circular needles, each 40"/100cm long OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size H/8 (5mm) crochet hook for fringe

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 4 x 80"/10 x 203cm

GAUGE
16 sts and 30 rows to 4"/10cm over pat st using sizes 5 and 10 (3.75 and 6mm) needles.
