An optional pair of button-on, garter-stitch suspenders allows for personal freedom in these shorts, worked in rows and featuring slight ribbing.

• 4 (4, 5) balls in #402 Wheat of Wool-Ease Chunky by Lion Brand, 5oz/140g balls, each approx 153yd/140m (acrylic/wool/rayon)
• One pair size 10½ (6.5mm) knitting needles, OR SIZE TO GET GAUGE
• Four 1"/25mm buttons

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized for X-Small (Small, Medium). Shown in size X-Small.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Hip 35 (38, 40)"/89 (96.5, 101.5)cm
• Length (without suspenders) 15"/38cm

GAUGE
• 10 sts to 3"/7.5cm and 19 rows to 4"/10cm over pat st using size 10½ (6.5mm) needles.
