The soft sheen of a ribbon yarn gives traditional Aran patterning
a new shine, while a fold-back collar, delicate points at the cuffs
and fronts and elegant frog closures add an edge of glamour to this
cardigan by Nicky Epstein.

MATERIALS
• 23 (25, 28) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx
66yd/60m) of Trendsetter Yarns Pistina (viscose) in #11
champagne
• One pair each sizes 6 and 8 (4 and 5mm) needles OR SIZE
TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size 6 (4mm) circular needle 16"/40cm long
• Size 6 (4mm) dp needles (for frog closures)
• Stitch markers and holders
• Two cable needles (cn)

• Trendsetter Brighton (cotton/polyamid/viscose/nylon)
1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 115yd/105m) in #6456 cream
GAUGES
• 22 sts and 36 rows = 4"/10cm over seed st
using larger needles
• 10 sts = 1"/2.5cm over chart I or chart III using larger
needles
• 21 sts = 3¼"/8cm over chart II using larger
needles
