The exaggerated cap sleeves and yoke of Carron’s long vest are knit with three strands of yarn, while the rest of the coat takes a single strand.

• 10 (12, 13, 15, 17, 18) 1¾oz/50g hanks (each approx 105yd/96m) of Reynolds/JCA, Inc. Top Seed Cotton (mercerized cotton) in #220 black (MC)
• 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) hanks in #260 cream (CC)
• One each sizes 5 and 10 (3.75 and 6mm) circular needles, 32"/80cm length OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size J-10 (6mm) crochet hook
• One ½"/12.5mm button and stitch holders or scrap yarn

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized for Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, XX-Large, XXX-Large. Shown in size Small

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bust 36 (40, 44, 48, 52, 56"/91.5 (101.5, 112, 123, 132, 142)cm
• Length 24½ (25, 26, 26½, 27½, 28)"/62 (63.5, 66, 67.5, 70, 74)cm

GAUGES
• 14 sts and 26 rows = 4"/10cm over garter st with 3 strands of yarn held together and larger needle.
• 24 sts and 30 rows = 4"/10cm over St st with single strand of yarn and smaller needle.
