A mix of stitches creates this head-turning tank. The bodice is knitted lace; below the bustline is a band of crocheted flowers. A strip of crocheted medallions on the lower half is flanked by knitted cables that are crocheted together to expose the seams.

• 1 3½oz/100g spool (each approx 580yd/530m) of Louet Sales Euroflax Paris (linen) in #18.36 natural linen (B)
• 2 3½oz/100g hanks (each approx 175yd/160m) of Louet Sales Gems Topaz (wool) in #30 cream (C)
• 2 1¾oz/50g hanks (each approx 185yd/169m) of Louet Sales Gems Pearl (wool) in #30 cream (D)
• 2 3½oz/100g hanks (each approx 156yd/143m) of Louet Sales Merlin Avalon (wool/linen) in #30 cream (E)
• One pair each sizes 4 and 7 (3.5 and 4.5mm) needles OR SIZES TO OBTAIN GAUGES
• One each sizes C/2, H/8 and J/10 (2.75, 5 and 6mm) crochet hooks OR SIZES TO OBTAIN GAUGES

GAUGES
Knit gauge
• 26 sts and 32 rows = 4"/10cm over St st for bodice using D and size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
• 22 sts and 20 rows = 4"/10cm over cable panel 3 using E and size 7 (4.5mm) needles.
Crochet gauge
• One crochet motif = 5½"/14cm square measurement over square 1 motif using A and size J/10 (6mm) hook.
• One crochet motif = 2"/5cm square measured over empire bustline strip 2 motif using B and size C/2 (2.75mm) hook.
