In the hands of the ever-inventive Norah Gaughan, the jumper grows up. The piece is worked horizontally from side to side with elongated dropped-garter-stitch gores shaping the skirt and offsetting the main body’s brocade pattern.

• 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) 3½oz/100g skeins (each approx 215yd/198m) of Berroco, Inc. Ultra Alpaca (alpaca/wool) in #6237 purple
• Size 8 (5mm) circular needle, 24"/60cm length OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized for X-Small, Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. Shown in size Small.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bust 24 (28, 32, 36, 40)"/61 (71, 81, 91, 101)cm
• Length (for top of bodice to hem) 29½"/75cm

GAUGES
• 18 sts and 30 rows = 4"/10cm over brocade st following chart using size 8 (5mm) needles.
•One brocade panel = 4"/10cm wide at hem.
