This simple-to-knit garter-stitch rectangle is dressed up with a delicately ridged border. It’s sumptuous to the touch and heavenly for a cuddle in the crib, playpen or stroller.

MATERIALS
• Four 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 90m/98yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Baby Cashmerino (merino wool/microfibre/cashmere) in Silver 12 (A)
• Two balls in Light Lilac 608 (B)
• One ball in Chocolate 11 (C)
• Pair of 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN THE TENSION
• Long 3mm (US 2–3) circular needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 48 x 71cm/19 x 28in including triangle edging.

TENSIONS
• 25 sts and 49 rows to 10cm/4in over garter st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.
