A lovely lace-and-cable pattern creates a chic little shrug that, once you’ve mastered the basic stitch pattern, is surprisingly simple to make. Easy increases creates the sleeves.

MATERIALS
• 6 (7, 8) 50g/1¾oz hanks (each approx 125m/137yd) Debbie Bliss/KFI Pure Silk (silk) in Purple 24
• Pair each 3.25mm and 4mm (US 3 and 6) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• One each 3.25mm and 4mm (US 3 and 6) circular knitting needles
• Cable needle (cn)

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized for Small, Medium, Large and shown in size Small.
• To fit bust 81–86 (92–97, 102–107)cm/32–34 (36–38, 40–42)in

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bust 100 (109, 118)cm/39½, 43, 46½)in
• Length to shoulder 38 (40, 42)cm/15 (15¾, 16½)in
• Sleeve length 19 (20, 21)cm/7½ (8, 8¼)in

TENSIONS
• 24 sts and 32 rows 10cm/4in over St st using 4mm (US 6) needles.
