Head-turning details make this slouchy cabled beret a lovely frame for any face. The K2, P2 ribbed edge morphs into outsized braided cables for a sinuous shape.

MATERIALS
• Four 50g/1¾ balls (each approx 65m/71yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Alpaca Silk Aran (alpaca/silk) in Silver 32
• Pair each 3.75mm and 5mm (US 5 and 8) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• Cable needle (cn)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• One size to fit an average sized adult head (approx 61cm/24in).

TENSIONS
• 18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm/4in over st st using 5mm (US 8) needles.
