Form-fitting at the deep-ribbed waistline and gradually belling downward, Patrick's peppered trench is worked in alternating ridge, rib, and triangle patterns and is highlighted by a rippling shawl collar, buttoned cuffs, and knitted belt.

• One pair each sizes 7 and 8 (4.5 and 5mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Size D/3 (3mm) crochet hook
• Stitch holders
• Five 1¼"/3cmbrown leather buttons, #1644 by JHB Button Co.
