Versatile, elegant, and rife with motifs of urban folklore, Reiss' skirt is worked in alternating stripe and solid panels, folded, and stitched down to provide a casing for securing elastic to be threaded.

• 8 (9, 9) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 100yd/91m) of Lane Borgosesia/Trendsetter Yarns Merino Otto (wool) in #11 black (MC)
• 3 (4, 4,) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 80yd/73m) of Trendsetter Yarns Pandora Shadow (polyamide) in #1818 suntan at sunset (A) and #1780 country cowboy (C)
• 3 (4, 4) 1¾oz/50g balls (each approx 80yd/73m) of Trendsetter Yarns Pandora (polyamide) in #8620 antique rose (E), #4823 olive (B) and #262 copper wire (D)
• One pair each sizes 7 and 9 (4.5 and 5.5mm) needles OR SIZES TO OBTAIN GAUGES
• Size 7 (4.5mm) circular needle, 24"/60cm length
• 1yd/1m of ½"/1cm wide elastic, stitch markers
