The construction of Orne's elegant gloves starts flat at the cabled cuff then morphs into the round as right twists continue up into the stockinette-stitch hand. A buttoned wrist adds a dash of style to these loose-fitting gloves.

• 2 1¾oz/50g hanks (each approx 125yd/114m) of Alchemy Yarns of Transformation Sanctuary (wool/silk) in #91m copper
• 1 set (5) size 4 (3.5mm) dpn OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• Cable needle, st markers
• Two 3/8"/10mm ball buttons

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Hand circumference 8½"/21.5cm
• Length of cuff 5½"/14cm

GAUGE
• 26 sts and 32 rows/rnds = 4"/10cm over St st using size 4 (3.5mm) needles.
