A bank of cushions with intarsia maritime flag motifs send a welcoming message. Knit in Rialto Aran extrafine merino, the cushion covers fasten in the back with three buttons.

MATERIALS
Note: Cushions are listed from left to right. All are worked in 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 80m/88yd) each of Debbie Bliss/KFI Rialto Aran (extrafine merino wool)
1 (E echo) Blue and Red Stripe
• Three balls in each of Blue 30 (A), and Red 18 (B).
2 (J juliet) Blue and White Stripe
• Four 50g balls in Blue 30 (A), and one ball in White 16 (B).
3 (C charlie) Red, White and Blue Stripe
• Four balls in Blue 30 (A) and one ball in each of White 16 (B) and Red 18 (C).
4 (F foxtrot) White with Red Diamond
• Four balls in White 16 (A), and one ball in Red 18 (B).
All cushions
• Pair of 5mm (US 8) knitting needles
• Three buttons for each cushion
• 41 x 41cm/16 x 16in cushion pads

• One Size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 41 x 41cm/16 x 16in

TENSION
• 18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 5mm (US 8) needles.
