The iconic boat tote, with panels showcasing Guernsey-style motifs, gets a clever tweaking in bright red Eco Aran. Ropelike handles and a traditional knotted Guernsey edge add to the nautical charm.

MATERIALS
• Seven 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 90m/98yd) in Debbie Bliss/KFI Eco Aran (organic cotton) in Red 613
• Pair 4.50mm (US 7) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• 0.5m/⁵/₈yd of 90cm/36in wide cotton fabric for lining
• Matching sewing thread
• 8 x 11mm/½in eyelets

• One Size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 32 x 41cm/12½ x 16¼in

TENSION
• 20 sts and 26 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 4.50mm (US 7) needles.
