Knit in Rialto DK to keep the teapot warm under a Scottish-style cozy,with tartan colorwork done using Fair Isle technique and pompom. Fabric lines the cozy for extra insulation.

MATERIALS
• Two 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 106m/116yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Rialto DK (extrafine merino) in each of Midnight 17 (A) and Red 12 (B) and one 50g ball in Moss 9 (C)
• Pair of 4mm (US 6) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• Cotton fabric for lining and wadding/batting

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 30cm/12in wide and 26cm/10¼in high

TENSION
• 22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm/4in square over patterned St st using 4mm (US 6) needles.
TAKE TIME TO CHECK TENSION.
