A Fair Isle hot-water-bottle cover of soft Baby Cashmerino. The sixteen-stitch repeat of eight colors is fair game for new knitters. The cover takes shape from the bottom up, with the single-rib expandable opening worked last; a picot cast-off is a perky finishing touch.

MATERIALS
• One 50g/1¾oz ball (each approx 125m/137yd of Debbie Bliss/KFI Baby Cashmerino (merino wool/microfibre/cashmere) in each of Red 700 (A), Cactus 25 (B), White 100 (C) Duck Egg 26 (D), Denim 27 (E), Silver 12 (F), Hunter Green 24 (G) and Dusty Pink 600 (H)
• Pair of 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• To fit a 20 x 28cm/8 x 11in hot water bottle.

TENSION
• 25 sts and 34 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.
TAKE TIME TO CHECK TENSION.
