A swingy car coat or a cardi for layering. Either way, the simple allover moss stitch and high scoop neck with one-button closure put all the emphasis on the luxe red Como yarn. Garter stitch edging keeps the gently flared piece neatly in shape.

MATERIALS
• 24 (26, 28) 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 42m/46yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Como (wool/cashmere) in Red 12
• Pair each 9mm (US 13) and 10mm (US 15) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• One button.

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized to fit bust 81–86 (92–97, 102–107)cm/32–34 (36–38, 40–42)in and shown for 81–86cm/32–34in.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Bust 117 (131, 145)cm/46 (51¾, 57)in
• Length to shoulder 76 (78, 80)cm/30 (30¾, 31½) in
• Sleeve length 43 (44, 45)cm/17 (17¼, 17¾)in

TENSION
• 9 sts and 18 rows to 10cm/4in square over moss st using 10mm (US 15) needles.
