An over-sized lined tote in charcoal Donegal Chunky Tweed graced by cables alternating with panels of Astrakhan stitch that continue up to become wide shoulder straps.

MATERIALS
• Five 100g/3½oz hanks (each approx 100m/110yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Donegal Chunky Tweed (wool) in Charcoal 2
• Pair of 6.50mm (US 10½) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• Cable needle
• Approximately 144cm/57in of 5cm/2in wide cotton twill tape
• Approximately 1.5m/1⁵/₈yds of 30cm/12in wide buckram
• 56 x 71cm/22 x 28in piece of lining fabric
• Stitch holders

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 30cm/12in high and 44cm/17¼in wide.

TENSION
• 12 sts and 19 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 6.50mm (US 10≤) needles.
