An exposed shelf liner is a sweet touch that brings a European sensibility to hearth and home. This one, knitted in garter stitch with a lacy skirt running its width, takes the place of the traditional doily. It’s shown in luscious Baby Cashmerino.

MATERIALS
• 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 125m/137yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Baby Cashmerino (merino wool/microfibre/cashmere) in White 100 (amounts will vary depending on length required, see Note for details)
• Pair of 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
•Width Approximately 7cm/2¾in at the widest point

TENSION
• 25 sts and 34 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.
