Just the thing for a boudoir or guest room, this unabashedly girly bolster pillow starts with a panel of ecru Eco organic cotton knitted in a four-row pattern of lace and moss stitch. This is fitted over a sewn fabric cover (slipped over a purchased pillow form) that is gathered and secured on either end with vintage-style mother-of-pearl buttons.

MATERIALS
• 3 x 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 90m/100yd) ofDebbie Bliss/KFI Eco (organic cotton) in Ecru 608
• Pair of 5mm (US 8) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• 72 x 57cm/281⁄4 x 22½in piece of fabric
• 40cm/16in zip fastener
• Sewing thread
• 46 x 17cm/18 x 6¾in bolster pad
• 2 large mother of pearl buttons

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 45cm/18in square.

TENSION
• To fit a 46cm/18in long bolster pad.
