Pillow covers really plump up inmoss or garter stitch with three strands of Eco organic cotton held together. The project is smooth sailing with nary a variation, save one buttonhole row, and finishing could not be more basic: After casting off, sandwich the cover over your cushion, sew up the side seams and fasten it with buttons.

MATERIALS
Garter stitch cushion

• 13 x 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 90m/100yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Eco (organic cotton) in White 617
Moss stitch cushion
• 12 x 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 90m/100yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Eco (oranic cotton) in White 617
• Pair 8mm (US 11) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• 4 buttons for each cushion
• 45cm/18in square cushion pad (pillow form) for each cushion

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 45cm/18in square.

TENSION
• 11 sts and 20 rows over garter st and 9 sts and 16 rows over moss st, both to 10cm/4in square using 8mm (US 11) needles and 3 strands of yarn knitted together.
