A nostalgic clothespin bag is worked inmoss stitch. The subtle texture gives the bag a structured, clean-lined look. Just line it with pretty fabric (gray sets off this ecru Eco organic cotton yarn quite smartly) and fit it over a wooden hanger.

MATERIALS
• 3 x 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 90m/100yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Eco (organic cotton) in Ecru 608
• Pair 4mm (US 6) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• 34 x 55cm/13 x 21¾in piece of fabric for lining
• Sewing thread
• 30cm/12in plain wooden coat hanger

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 26 x 30cm/10 x 12in.

TENSION
• 20 sts and 33 rows to 10cm/4in square over moss st using 4mm (US 6) needles.
