Padded hangers in Eco organic cotton give straps and shoulders a soft landing. The knitted covers are stitched flat in either plain moss stitch or a lace-and-moss-stitch pattern, then sewn over wooden hangers wrapped with padding. These little confections are too pretty to shut up in your closet, so make a few extra to keep on display.

MATERIALS
• One 50g/1¾oz ball (each approx 90m/100yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Eco (organic cotton) in Ecru 608 (see NOTE)
• Pair of 5mm (US 8) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• Fabric—approximately 12 x 35 (48)cm/4¾ x 13¾ (19)in
• 30 (43)cm/12 (17)in plain wooden coat hangers
• Batting
• Sewing thread

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• To fit 30 (43)cm/12 (17)in plain wooden coat hangers

TENSION
• 19 sts and 26 rows to 10cm/4in square over patt using 5mm (US 8) needles.
