Dress him up in supersoft Baby Cashmerino, with this dapper cream cricket vest with contrast trim—its stretchy ribbed V neck and armholes, which are picked up and knit from the body, are in no way restrictive. Ribs alternate with mirrored cables.

MATERIALS
• 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 125m/137m) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Baby Cashmerino (merino wool/microfibre/cashmere) in Ecru 101 (M) and one 50g/1¾oz ball in Denim 27 (C)
• Pair each 3mm (US 2) and 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• Cable needle

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized to fit ages 3–6, 6–9, 9–12, 12–18, 18–24 months and shown for age 9–12 months.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Chest 45 (48, 52, 56, 61)cm/17¾ (19, 201⁄2, 22, 24)in
• Length to shoulder 22 (24, 26, 28, 30)cm/8¾ (9½, 10¼, 11, 12)in

TENSION
• 25 sts and 34 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.
