She’ll look fresh and adorable in a stockinette T-shirt dress with back opening. It’s striped in gray and white, with edges piped in red, and couldn’t be easier to care for: The yarn is Baby Cashmerino, a luxury cashmere mix that’s machine-washable.

MATERIALS
• 2 (3, 3, 3, 3) 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 125m/137yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Baby Cashmerino (merino wool/microfibre/cashmere) in Medium Grey 9 (A) and 2 (2, 3, 3, 3) 50g/1¾oz balls in White 100 (B) and one 50g/1¾oz ball in Cherry 34 (C)
• Pair each 2.75mm (US 2) and 3.25mm (US 3) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• 2.75mm (US 2) circular needle
• 1 button

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Sized to fit ages 3–6, 6–9, 9–12, 12–18, 18–24 months and shown for age 9–12 months.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Chest 43 (49, 52, 57, 62)cm/17 (19, 21, 22½, 24½)in
• Length to shoulder 29 (35, 41, 48, 55)cm/11½ (13¾, 16, 19, 21¾)in
• Sleeve length 4 (4, 5, 5, 6)cm/1½ (1½, 2, 2, 2¼)in

TENSION
• 25 sts and 34 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.
