This delicate pleated bag is knitted in Baby Cashmerino with horizontal ridged portions both front and back are anchored by moss-stitch gussets; the purse can be lined with silk fabric and finished with rattan handles.

MATERIALS
• Three 50g/1¾oz balls (each approx 125m/137yd) of Debbie Bliss/KFI Baby Cashmerino (merino wool/microfibre/cashmere) in Duck Egg 26
• Pair of 3.25mm (US 3) knitting needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN TENSION
• 21 x 32cm/8¼ x 12½in fabricfor lining
• Sewing thread
• 4.5 x 18cm/1¾ x 7in piece of cardboard for base
• Pair of rattan bag handles with a 13.5cm/5¼in internal width

KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• One size.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
• Approximately 19 x 14cm/7½ x 5½in

TENSION
• 25 sts and 34 rows to 10cm/4in square over St st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles.
